JMC Industriteknik is growing and is now looking for a driven, curious, and solution-oriented Technical Salesperson to join our team. Here, you will play a key role in helping customers find smart technical solutions, building long-term business relationships, and actively contributing to the company's continued growth.
About the role
As a Technical Salesperson at JMC Industriteknik, you will hold a central position in the contact with both new and existing customers. You will work in an advisory and long-term capacity to understand your customers' operations, identify their needs, and develop technically and commercially suitable solutions.
The role involves close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You are responsible for the entire sales process – from the initial contact and needs analysis to quotation, negotiation, order, and follow-up.
Your main responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers
- Identify and process new customers and business opportunities
- Conduct customer visits and technical needs analyses
- Develop solution proposals, calculations, and quotations
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts
- Follow up on quotations, deliveries, and completed deals
- Collaborate with internal and external technical specialists
- Participate in trade fairs, customer activities, and other industry events
- Monitor the market and contribute ideas to the company's business development
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and thrive in a customer-facing and business-driven role. You are receptive, trustworthy, and skilled at translating technical requirements into concrete solutions.
To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:
- Technical education or equivalent experience from the industry
- Experience in technical sales, industrial trade, or advisory B2B sales
- Ability to understand technical products, processes, and customer applications
- Strong communication and commercial skills
- A structured and independent work approach
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Experience from, for example, the manufacturing industry, automation, mechanical engineering, production technology, maintenance, or related areas is an advantage.
